We are organized and governed by watershed landowners, residents, government agencies and other stakeholders. We strive to convene a broad representation of the watershed’s community and interests through our board membership and partnerships.

The Council

Officers of the Council are elected biannually and consist of a chair and vice chair elected from within each Council. 

 

Our Council meets bimonthly to report on activities, discuss broader issues, plan project proposals, and coordinate actions.

Council Coordinator

Ally Steinmetz earned a Master of Science in Forest Resources and Environmental Conservation from Virginia Tech, and B.A. in Liberal Studies with a Spanish minor from Oregon State University-Cascades. A Central Oregon resident since 2005, Ally has dedicated her career to supporting human and ecological needs in forests and rangelands. For her Masters, Ally studied conservation program design and is excited to work with landowners and partners on-the-ground to enhance our watersheds and working landscapes. Ally's favorite thing to do in her spare time is take her horse camping using the extensive network of equestrian campgrounds Oregon offers.
